KDPO loves any excuse to swirl and sip while learning more about wine.

That’s why we were thrilled to help spread the word about Circl, a new restaurant with a big focus on wine (as the magnificent 1500-bottle cellar will no doubt attest) on Punch Lane in Melbourne’s CBD.

The Circl ethos is to expand the wine knowledge of its guests by demystifying the whole process through a culture of accessibility, inclusivity and discovery. That includes a by-the-glass list offering of more than 150 different labels (let’s hear it for variety!).

Leading the charge is head sommelier Xavier Vigier, who recently helped Circl win the Best Champagne List at this year’s Australian Wine List of the Year Awards. He expertly curates the amazing state-of-the-art cellar on Circl’s first floor, working closely with Executive Chef Elias Salomonsson and his team for brilliant matches with the equally inspired European and Swedish-inflected menu.

KDPO helped spread the word with a launch that included both an intimate dinner for key media and another dinner for wine-loving VIP guests.
